Installing and Setting Up Telegram on a Mobile Device
To install Telegram on a mobile device, find the Telegram app in the Play Market app (for Android devices) or App Store ( for iOS devices) and install it on the mobile device.

The sound volume during a video call can be adjusted with the buttons on the side of the phone. Depending on the model of the phone and its operating system, the sound volume during a video call can also be adjusted in the phone settings (Settings > Sound).
Installing and Setting Up Telegram on a Computer
One of the following two options can be used on a computer:
- Telegram Desktop — Telegram program for setting up on a computer. This is a recommended option.

In Telegram Desktop, setting up the sound and camera for video calls can be performed in:
- Settings > Sound and camera (on a Windows computer)
- Settings > General Settings > Call settings (on a macOS computer)
- Telegram Web — Telegram for using in a browser on a computer
When using Telegram Web, it is not necessary to download and install Telegram. It is sufficient to open a browser, go to
https://web.telegram.org/k/
and authorize in Telegram Web with the phone number or QR-code.
To authorize with a QR-code, on a mobile device in the mobile version of Telegram open Settings > Devices > Link Desktop Device and scan the QR-code that appears on the Telegram Web page.
The sound volume during a video call can be adjusted in the computer’s sound settings (Settings > System > Sound).
